I have been using this product for about a year now. At first i was in a stage of denial that this product was good but i finally gave up and admitted that this product was inferior to Huggies. Don't get me wrong that this is a bad product. Pampers Baby Dry Diapers (Packaging May Vary) Pampers has a name in the market as the best diapers around but my experience is that Huggies is much more superior to it. I was initially using Huggies and when Amazon had the free 2 day shipping deal and at a great price i went with Pampers. I went through about 3-4 boxes and finally gave up. Pampers Baby Dry Diapers (Packaging May Vary) Here is my conclusion of the two products as comparison.

Absorption:
Huggies was definitely better as after about 10 hours (overnight) the absorption and leakage was definitely better (both from touch and sight) Pampers has leakage as it could not hold a lot and was leaking out.

Retention:
Huggies is the winner here too as even after the diapers was full, it held the liquid well keeping the baby comfortable. Pampers started leaking on occasions and on other occasions you could tell that the moisture was starting to break out from through the outside as it felt a little wet to touch.

Comfort:
Pampers material was softer and Huggies has a rougher material, so i would think that Pampers will be the winner here.

All in all i will be going back to Huggies as it has a better value in my opinion.

Pampers Baby Dry Diapers (Packaging May Vary) My daughter is well within the weight limits (she weighs 14 pounds for the size 2 diapers that are supposed to fit 12-18 pounds). These work fine for the daytime and naps with few leaks, but at night they leak out the back (doesnt matter if it's solid or liquid, both leak) every single night. They leak out the back even when it's been far less than 12 hours (like 8). I think the fact that there is no elastic in the waistband and no cinching to make it snug around the waist causes leaks at night. Plus, these baby dry diapers are very thin compared to other pampers I've used and to Huggies, and feel cheaper made. I now had to order huggies little movers for night time, but have no idea how theyll do at night. Havent had alot of issues with rashes with these (though on pampers swaddlers my daughter had a 4 week rash we couldnt get rid of, but not with the next batch/box of those we had used). Pampers Baby Dry Diapers (Packaging May Vary) No gel or dye leaks yet.

I have been baffled by why my baby (8 month) has been having such an itching problem on her butt. She scratches her butt so much that is starts to bleed. I but cream on it but it still wouldn't resolve. She is still only on breast milk at 22 pds and I thought at first it might be something I was eating so I cleaned my diet up. No chocolate, no dairy, low sugar, no white flour, no alcohol. I thought this would help it then I dawned on my - "its the diaper!" I looked it up on the internet and there were big issues with what Pampers was putting in their diapers to make them thin and absorbent. Beware. Pampers Baby Dry Diapers (Packaging May Vary) If your baby is having issues it may be the fragrance and the chemicals in these diapers if you are using this brand.

Going back to original plan - Seventh Generation - No Fragrances, no bleach! No diaper issues!!!!

I am a longtime Amazon buyer and a first time reviewer. I am also a Pampers Swaddlers devotee and so I thought, a fan of Pampers in general. I have since found that all Pampers are not created equal. I typically use Pampers Swaddlers in the day and Huggies Overnights at night for my 8 month old son - who is not by any means a "super soaker". I bought the Pampers Baby Dry because they had a good deal going, so I thought I would give them a try. With "12 hours of overnight protection", what's not to like? The first night I used these, I found my son's entire frontside wet in the morning. Okay, so it's hard to find a really good overnight disposable. Maybe I should have bought one size up from his usual. Pampers Baby Dry Diapers (Packaging May Vary) I thought, "I'll just use them during the day...". Well, after just 1 nap and about 3 hours in the diaper, again soaked. What a waste!

Pampers Baby Dry Diapers (Packaging May Vary) I love Pampers Swaddlers so I thought I'd try these once my baby outgrew the Swaddlers. While I've never had any issues with leaking, I've had to throw out at least four brand-new diapers (so far) because the the entire side where the tab tears off while I'm trying to fasten the diaper. I've never had this problem with Swaddlers or Huggies, so I know it's not the operator. Also, these diapers don't seem to fit very securely. They tend to sag and feel very cheap (even my husband commented on that and he generally doesn't notice these kinds of things). Pampers Baby Dry Diapers (Packaging May Vary) I've only used about 20 diapers from my box of 140, but I'm sure I'll have more problems with tearing. What a waste!
